for amateurs and professionals

Rules and Regulations of the Show

1.  Each applicant may enter up to five prints in Black and White or Color (digital images and alterations are allowed).  Best of show (18%), first place B&W (12%), first place Color (16%), second place B&W (10%), and second place Color (14%) will return 61 % of all entry fees.  Third Place B&W, Color, and Honorable Mentions will be awarded prizes.

2.  Entry forms with check or money order must be received no later than September 22, 2007.  Entry fee is $7.00 per image.

3.  All prints must be at least 8 x 10 inches (before cropping) but no larger than 16 x 24 inches.

4.  All prints must be FRAMED with WIRE HANGING DEVICES in place.  Prints unable to be hung WILL NOT BE JUDGED AND THE ENTRY FEE WILL NOT BE RETURNED!!!

5.  All prints must have the photographer’s name, address, phone number, PRINT TITLE, and price on the back of the finished framed print in the upper left hand corner.  No name will be allowed on the front of the picture during the judging although your business card may be placed on the print AFTER THE PRINT IS HUNG.

6.  All prints may be for sale with 5% retained by the Eastern Idaho Photographic Society.

7.  All prints must be in the EITC Gallery, 1600 S 2500 East, Idaho Falls, Idaho, by 6 p.m. on September 26 (judging on September 27).  If a print is shipped, a copy of the entry receipt slip, a check for the shipping charges back to the print’s destination, PLUS a $10.00 packaging and handling fee must accompany the print (can not be delivered before September 26 – no storage room at EITC).  Print pickup on October 27 before 5:00 p.m.

We currently have the Art Councial Art Walk Scheduled for October 4th.

8.  The Eastern Idaho Technical College and EIPS reserve the right not to hang all entries but will endeavor to hang the best 100 - 150 images depending on space availability.
